Battle Of the 'Idol' Judges

Last night, “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell stood his ground like never before, as the panel argued back and forth about who should stay and who should go.

Now Simon is speaking out, telling “Extra” that the battle lines are drawn.

“This year there was definitely two judging panels,” Simon said. “There was me, always right, and there was Randy and Paula. They’re like Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum!”

Reading the whole article I disagree with Simon if indeed he was stating that Season 5 was a popularity contest. I honestly think he sometimes doesn't listen. See he never liked Taylor so unless he really had nothing bad to say about his performance he had to say he liked it. I think he kind of liked him in the end. If he (Simon) wanted Kat to win, her CD sales were even worse than Taylor's. That year had so much talent.

Anyway...about last night with Kyle...I was actually really surprised about what he said to him. How much he disagreed with the Paula and Randy about sending Kyle home. I was shocked as well. It was very heartwarming though. It seemed Simon was a little upset or something that Kyle didn't make the Top 24. That's just what stood out for me last night.

Oh...and thanks for posting. I haven't had time to go searching for news yet. Got lots to do over here now. Gotta get this place Hoppin'!!
