Don't panic. She was in a car crash before the Hollywood auditions. Article is dated November 20, 2007 from Pharos Tribune. I haven't found any follow-up articles on this, but I"m assuming she's okay considering she's on the rumored list of contestants who made the Top 24.

One hurt in car-semi collision

The battered remains of a 2003 Ford Mustang rest in the middle of the highway as first responders tend to its driver, Amanda L. Overmyer, 23, Frankfort. At about 9:30 a.m. Monday, Overmyer was reportedly heading south on 18th Street. As she attempted to cross U.S. 24/U.S. 35, her car was struck by a westbound semi driven by Timothy W. Pierce, 49, Huntsville, N.Y. Pierce reportedly applied the brakes and swerved but could not avoid the collision. The semi skidded another 282 feet. Overmyer was unconscious when police arrived, according to the accident report. At the Memorial Hospital emergency room, she told police she did not remember what happened. Because of a head injury, she was airlifted to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, where she was later released.
