Taylor Hicks rocks Manila!
American Idol Taylor Hicks did make Filipinos proud when he recently flew in to Manila for a three–venue tour, thanks to Ayala Malls which continues to bring world–class and topnotch acts in the country.
The much–anticipated tour packed to capacity which started in Glorietta 4, Greenbelt 3, and finally at the TriNoma Activity Center.
About a thousand of fans turned out to watch him sing.
At the Glorietta 4 concert, Hicks played his harmonica to the delight of the audience. He performed with musical arranger Louie Ocampo and his band.
Hicks rocked the house as he performed his own versions of "Takin’ it to the Streets," "Dancing in the Dark," "Living for the City" and his winning piece at the 5th season of American, "Idol "Do I make You Proud."
After his sterling performance, shoppers had a photo opportunity with their idol on stage.
Taylor Hick’s series of concerts were Ayala Malls’ holiday treat to its loyal patrons. His Philippine appearance was part of the company’s continuous effort to bring high-caliber but accessible entertainment.
With the help of sponsors like Mossimo, Ascott Makati, Hard Rock Cafe, ABC 5 and RX 93.1, the event certainly gave valued customers a memorable concert to remember by.
